On this day in 1952, the book Charlotte’s Web was published by EB White.
The novel tells the story of a livestock pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. Charlotte’s Web is considered a classic of children’s literature, enjoyed by readers of all ages and explores themes of change, death and innocence that have endeared readers of all ages-which is what timeless written works can do!
