Today’s Greatitude

Jingle Bells” is one of the most famous traditional Christmas songs all around the world. There are 17 versions of Jingle Bells out there, and originally the the title of “One Horse Open Sleigh” was for a local school choir.

Interestingly enough, the song was intended to be used on Thanksgiving Day. Many artists officially covered the Christmas hit, but only Perry Como managed to debut in the charts. This was the first song played in space, in December 1965, by astronauts Wally Schirra and Tom Stafford.

To be sure, there is no better feeling than to be “dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh-laughing all the way”
