A picnic you say!?
This Sunday, June 9th is the 3rd annual Picnic with a Purpose in George Lane Park in High River from 11am to 2:30pm.
The foothills county Family and Community Social Services has partnered Foothills Family Resource Centre and many other non profit agencies in the region to host a picnic and resource fair.
If you’ve ever wondered about the amazing services available throughout the foothills but never known how to access them, this is your opportunity to join in and see.
With face painting, a petting zoo, toonie BBQ, live entertainment and activities at every station, you are welcome to join this free family event. Bring your own picnic or join in on the toonie BBQ, lawn chair optional and fun at every turn!
A true celebration of community coming together to mark the beginning of summer a greatitude for all the hands working to bring this event to life!
