July 1st marks the 157th birthday of our great country.
There are so many amazing ways to celebrate our amazing country. Get a better understanding and appreciation of Indigenous peoples, the role of the monarchy, as well as the languages, anthems and symbols that define Canada’s identity.
Recognize the impact of the promotion of gender equality and the protection of human rights and cultural diversity in shaping our country. All while kicking back in a Muskoka Chair, drinking a beer, watching the Northern Lights in a buffalo plaid long sleeved shirt with a maple leaf painted on your cheek and singing a Tragically Hip song around a campfire.
Maybe a loon with sing off in the distance and someone will have fireworks at the campsite.
Maybe you’ll even sample a BeaverTail…however you mark our nation’s birthday, do it with pride that we live in the BEST country in the world.
