Leaves in the Trees

Ever sat on a lawn chair outside and tilted your head back and watched the leaves as they sway on the branches on trees overhead?  Closed your eyes and listened to the wind in the trees?  Marvelled at the beauty in the colour of green grass, or the fragrance of flowers as they float on the breeze?

Do you hear the chirping of birds or watch the clouds as they shift and change with the wind.  Are you amazed when the sun dips behind a cloud at the difference in the temperature and see the clouds taking shape in the distance that will bring rain to a parched landscape?

How about the smell after the rain of fresh air and how that smell is a renewal in itself?

Greatitudes can be found in enjoying the simple stuff and taking a moment to pause and really drink in the space you occupy and ponder your place in it with renewal, joy and gladness for the world we live in.  Perhaps you can find a moment today to do the same!
