The Senior’s Celebration on June 4th 1-4 at FCC. It’s a free lunch celebration as part of senior’s week in the area.
The theme this year is “We Fit Together” and will feature short visual presentations on belonging. They will have Brettyn Rose and Foothills Brass performing during the event, a photo booth, and attendees will participate in an art installation project connected to the theme where they will decorate or write messages on wooden puzzle pieces that will be shared and displayed throughout the community.
There will be a Tipi Camp and Indigenous Market this weekend as well! The Tipi Camp will be set up in an area close to the Okotoks Recreation Centre (99 Okotoks Drive) and the all-Indigenous Artisan Market will take place inside the Okotoks Recreation Centre and will operate on Saturday, June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
With so much happening in our communities this weekend, we have alot to be grateful for!
