Have the back to school adverts started? How about the Halloween displays in the stores? As a parent with young children, the advert about the most wonderful time of the year and the gleeful dad pushing the cart at a school supply store made for a lot of laughter and a sympathetic “YES” from many parents who could easily relate!
Teachers will be soaking up the last of the summer activities and unscheduled days before they return to routine and living by the days of the week.
Christ the Redeemer students return to class on August 28th and Foothills School Division schools return on Sept 3rd.
Enjoy the next few weeks, fill up your memory banks of fun days spent basking in the sun, at the lake or river and roasting marshmallows!
Summer dreams will linger as the season changes and we all settle back into the regular routine of school and fall. Don’t wish it here too soon, drink it all in!
