Today’s Greatitude
The first few days of back to school are done and dusted and the kids are hopefully starting to embrace the routine and excitement of seeing their friends every day.
Teachers are collectively taking the big breath and ready to meet new faces, instill lessons, and create memories of school days as they tick by one by one.
There are amazing resources in our communities to help with anyone needing additional supports. Accessing lunch programs may be required for some families and there are programs such as Food For Thought in High River, Blackie, Diamond Valley and Cayley or Feeding our Future through the Okotoks United Church.
Both programs provide lunches to students and both programs are volunteer driven. Our communities are very blessed to have these resources and for more information visit HRFoodForThought.ca or okunited.ca. Kids fueled up with full tummies can focus on having fun, learning and knowing they can thrive.
A big thank you for the many hands who work in the background to make this happen!
