Today’s Greatitude
National Domestic Violence month starts today and hopes to shed light on how to stop the cycle of abuse and support families who are in crisis.
Today also marks the start of Diwali which is a five-day celebration. Diwali is not only a festival of lights, but it also has great cultural and spiritual significance. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance.
How fitting that a festival of light can begin at the same time as shining light on breaking the cycle of abuse in our communities.
If you or someone you know is in need of help, please reach out for support as there is help to be had and all it takes is one call!
Having support and community is something to be grateful for in times of stress and times of celebration.
